What Big Map actually has, county by county
Big Map is a decision and project workspace with complete North Carolina parcel coverage and selected East Coast markets — not a nationwide parcel viewer. Coverage depth varies by source even inside a live county. This page lists every jurisdiction Big Map serves today and exactly what data is and isn't available for it, so nothing is implied that isn't true.
Quality snapshot generated loading…. Most statuses come from persistent build artifacts for the published archives. Charleston and Wake zoning are looked up from official sources when you select a parcel and are not in those tiles.

Big Map claims coverage only for the live jurisdictions listed below. Outside those jurisdictions, the map has no parcel dataset to show at any zoom level. Research and internal planning do not imply future availability.
How to read this table
- Sale history is not collected for any jurisdiction yet — no source in the current pipeline supplies it. It's a planned addition, not a hidden feature.
- Available means every parcel carried the field in the generated snapshot. Partial means some did, or the field is looked up live for some parcels only. Not available means none did. Government source values can still be inaccurate.
- Freshness describes Big Map's archive refresh process, not the age of every government record. The Carolinas and DC Metro archives have a weekly schedule; statewide North Carolina currently requires an explicit manual refresh.
- Expand Evidence under any jurisdiction for the source-policy records supporting that row. Numeric completeness for tile-published fields comes from the generated per-county quality snapshot. Click-time lookups are called out in the row detail.
